This past year has not been easy for me. I have been unwell, requiring plenty of medical tests that resulted in no real resolution. I finally came to understand that either I plod onward and complete this project, or call it quits. I did what I could and, honestly, I’m pretty happy with the outcome.
I love the new cover photo featuring seven Roseate Spoonbills perched on a dead tree. Honestly, if Florida had a State Symbol of Hope, it should be the Roseate Spoonbill. How remarkable to witness their recovery in Florida.
